A leaking, sagging or sticking shower door doesn't always mean you need a whole new enclosure. Hammertown Glass & Mirror repairs frameless, semi-frameless and sliding shower doors throughout Hamilton, Burlington, Ancaster, Stoney Creek and the surrounding area.
We replace worn sweeps and seals, fix or replace hinges, pivots, rollers and handles, re-align doors that drag or won't latch, and replace cracked or shattered shower glass with new tempered safety glass.
Send us a photo of the door and the problem when you request a quote, and we can usually tell you right away whether it's a repair or a replacement and what it will cost.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my frameless shower door leaking?
Usually the bottom sweep or the vinyl seals along the edges have worn, shrunk or come loose, or the door has dropped out of alignment. Replacing the sweep and seals and adjusting the hinges fixes most leaks.
My shower door is sagging or won't close properly. Can it be fixed?
Yes. Sagging is normally caused by loose or worn hinges or pivots, or by the wall anchors loosening. We tighten, shim or replace the hardware and re-level the door. If the hinge holes in the glass are damaged, we'll explain the options.
Can you replace just the glass on my shower door?
Yes. Shower glass is tempered, so it is cut and drilled to match your existing hardware and then tempered. We measure the opening and hardware, order the panel, and install it with new seals.
Do you repair sliding tub and shower doors?
Yes. We replace worn rollers, bottom guides, tracks and handles on sliding bypass doors, and can replace the glass if it's damaged or permanently etched.
